Facial Rejuvination

Everyone wants to look and feel their best, and in today’s culture, some individuals feel societal pressure to live up to what may be unrealistic expectations. This motivates many men and women to finds ways to improve how they look and feel about themselves.  One way to accomplish this goal of appearing younger is by having a facial rejuvenation treatment.  Facial rejuvenation is defined as any cosmetic or medical procedure used to restore the appearance of a younger age to a human face.  AAFPRS member surgeons each performed 1,076 facial cosmetic surgical, cosmetic non-surgical, reconstructive and revision procedures in 2009; almost two-thirds of those procedures were cosmetic and non-surgical.  84% of these procedures were done on women (Statistics provided by the AAFPRS).  There are many different treatment options for facial rejuvenation.  One type of treatment involves injecting platelet rich plasma into the human face.
