My son is 18, playing his first year of baseball in college. He just had an MR Arthrogram of his left shoulder.
The impressions on the report were: – Mild sclerotic change in the posterior glenoid. The ortho who saw him is the team doc. He seems very knowledgeable and does not recommend surgery but rather PT for 3 months to strengthen muscles around the shoulders. He also said he has very loose joints. Would PRP treatment be a benefit for him? |

I would agree with his team doc. It sounds like PRP would be unnecessary and he likely will respond well to PT. |
