Facial scars are difficult to treat with PRP. Usually unsightly scars are excised and resutured. The only type of facial scars that have shown improvement with PRP are acne scarring from prior cystic acne. Further improvement can be acheived when PRP is combined with laser peels such as Erbium or CO2 lasers. |
