I am 68 years old and play a lot of Pickle-ball. I have arthritis in my knee and I’m wondering if the PRP injection will be effective, and how long will it last before I have to get another injection? Thank you!
PRP injections have been shown to be effective in treating the symptoms of osteoarthritis in the knees. PRP may provide 6 months of relief or in some patients up to 1-2 years. Stem cell treatments combined with PRP may be even more effective.
