| I had undergone a PRP injection about two days ago. Unfortunately I was not aware that i was not supposed to take anti inflammatory medication after the treatment. I had taken one ibuprofen the day of the injection and another the third day after the injection before finding out. I would like to know how badly this will effect the treatment and the result of the PRP injection. I have only taken two ibuprofens and it has been 4 days since the PRP injection. | |

It depends on where the PRP was injected and what it was for. If it was injected inside of a joint (like for arthritis) it may matter less than if it was injected into a tendon or ligament. In either case I am confused as to why your doctor did not advise you to avoid antiinflammatories. |
