Is PRP treatment good for complex tear of the posterior horn and body of the medial mensicus?

Hello, Is PRP treament good for complex tear of the posterior horn and body of the medial mensicus? If yes how does it help to get the knee better? Does the tear get to recover or what? I do not have arthritis though just FYI! Do I need physical therapy along with PRP? How many times I need to do that? And finaly what is the percentage of recovery in my case?

Although there may be some case reports of patients being treated with PRP for meniscal tears, there has not been a study to show that PRP can heal meniscal tears. That doesn’t meen that it may not help. You may in fact get symptom improvement from PRP treatment. However there is as of yet no evidence that it will heal the tear.
